They're not that bad in Belgium, if you smoke and you're not causing trouble or thare aren't any minors around they'll just let you at it.

yeah pretty much the same here.
you can smoke it in the bus..as long as you dont make a big deal about and wave it around. you can smoke it in the parks..again as long as its not obvious...
at the most cops will come up and tel you to put it out....
cos everyone is pretty much corrupt down here.
ergo: if one dick is breaking the law openly, he's got connections to either stay out of jail or screw the cop's ass (the one who busts him). cops know this.

Same goes for if you're speeding. if you have a rundown, battered piece of junk and you jump a light. or speed...you're fucked.
one dude some years back was coming back from some party at 4am. ran over 3 bums. killed 2 on the spot and nothing hapened to him!!!!
cos he was driving a BMW and his daddy's shit dont stink....

anyway...back to the topic
i think there are two ways to get out after being caught by a cop smoking pot.
a) put it out, say sorry try look real innocent. (no sass) and try and talk your way out of the situation or

b) run like hell
