Zeppelin are amazing, one of my top five bands definetley. Although imo Pink Floyd are a better jamming band. My dad used to go to all the Zeppelin/Sabbath/Deep Purple gigs back in the day before they were famous. Oh how I envy him!

Thanks man, its from the booklet in "a saucerful of secrets". Zeppelin are gradually creeping up my list of favourite bands. Has here seen them live? They would be the best band to see live, so much energy. I saw Robert Plant live a couple of years ago but I wasn't into Zeppelin back then, so I didn't enjoy it as much as I should've.Disraeli Gears wrote:Yeah it kinda goes without saying that Zep are the best rock band in the world, ever.. riff, nice sig pic

He was with another band, but not a very famous one. Sort of like Paul McCartney's band when he tours. I can't remember if they did any Zeppelin songs because I didn't like them then. It only cost £3, which is about $5 i think. I thought there may be a few older people here who saw them back in the 60s or 70s but its mainly young people on weedguru.cutthecashflow wrote:You saw just robert plant? or was he performing with another band? Im interested to know. I actually dont think theyve been on tour for a long while.

A very good friend of mine used to play alot with Jimmy Page after Zeppelin split, but other than that i dont know anyone whos seen em properly. Riff, you should check out the Led Zeppelin DVD, its quality, its got all their good songs, and you can see how much power they had on stage, its unbelieveable
