I knew someone would say something about rooney. Yeah he was good but man utd werent playing a great team far from it (i support man utd!). Looks like a good buy for man utd only £27 million hahaha

He was fucking awesome but people are gonna expect too of him now much now and he may be lose "it" in a few years (sound familiar?)

I was close to playing against Wayne Rooney in year 9 of school. I played in a national football competition for schools called the heinz ketchup cup and we got to the last 16! We lost 4-3 to the eventual winners who played La Salle College (Rooneys school) in the final.

I know it sounds like I'm lying but in the game we lost it was 30 seconds from penalties when they scored the winner. A lot of spectators said it was offside (I couldn't see- I play in goal). But for some reason in the most important game all of us had played didn't have any linesmen! Needless to say we were pissed off.
