First Car
What a momentous experience in life. I am mobile! I am the proud owner of a cherry red '93 Oldsmobile Ultima. What a fine car. I have been on a cloud all day. It is not a beater car - it's a real, nice, sophisticated machine, that works good. My mom's boss sold it to me for a paltry $600 - it is worth 3X that! I must be the luckiest girl on earth - a real car, all mine. I am about to go pick up my first sack in my own car. I have no liscense or insurance yet, but that'll not stop me. I can't stop smiling, either. Every time I look at it, I can't believe it's mine. I can sleep in. No more bus rides. I can go horseback riding whenever I want. To the store. To the cliffs. Back to Seattle to see my friends who I miss. It's just absolutely amazing - the Caro has a badass car, that's not a beater. And it's a stick shift, which I just learned how to drive! Talk about power. Good Lord, I love my car.

Congrats!
I didnt have to buy my first car when i turned 16. My dad had a 79' brand new BMW waiting for me. Within a few months i sold it and bought a 2002 Acura RSX.

*Cringes in horror*. It's such an adrenaline rush to drive her, coz I know she will get taken away if I get pulled over. I need to get my liscense, get insurance, and get it registered. It has a good sized compartment under the floor of the trunk, with the spare tire wedged in the back. I figure behind there is the best I can do for hiding my weed. Being a driver adds a whole new dimension to the life of a stoner. I'm almost 23 and I've been living downtown since I was 14, so no need to get liscensed coz owning/driving/parking a car was impractical where I live. Cutthecashflow, I moved 4 hours East of Seattle in June, to the small town in the desert where my brother lived. He drove to a huge cliff, jumped off into the river for a rush, and there his soul departed his body. It was a strong feeling to come here, and now we're staggering under these... obvious blessings..the money, the nice house, the scuba, the travel...MY CAR... blessings, I know sent directly from my brother because they're all tied to underwater life support. Anyway I know I came home, I love this town where everybody drives.bong man wrote:yea lets go mudding in caros car and take it and see how far we can burn the tires!!

when driving, after getting pulled over and feeling just how scary it is to have a bong and half an oz in ur vehicle- i always hide my weed in my bra. i don't carry much anymore but if its a male cop theres no way they're gonna search ur body btu theres a good chance they'll look around ur car. not like u can tell them u don't want them to. Then it gets suspicious and ur there all day blah blah im tired goodnight

I'm sad you guys, I can't drive it anymore.
Well I can, but I just realized the tabs are expired, so there goes my "drive safe and you won't get pulled over" theory. All I would have to do is have a cop pull up behind me and there's no chance of just driving calmly away. Fucking stickers.... I'm pretty sure it's unConstitutional, making people pay fees for stickers just to be legal on the road. Now I have to get tabs, register the vehicle, get my liscense, and get insurance. Just to get a liscense you have to have an insured vehicle, so it's quite the circle jerk. Because I'm under 25 I need a specially insured vehicle $$$$$$#@$#@%! Bottom line is I have to park my beautiful car, which has been so much fun to sneak around in, and just wait for the paycheck to come in and then do a bunch of paperwork and take a test. I guess I need to learn how to paralell park and how to drive a stick uphill, too.
Cars are taxing, and with freedom comes responsibility.
