you could protest and they could lock you up. protesters are loosing their rights under the partiot act and soon patriot act II. plus do you really think their going to listen to us? do you honestly think that protests will get bush out of office? plus the media wouldnt even give enough attention to get a movement started. just go and look at what happened with a protest headed gy take back the media. they had the main street in i beive it was sana barba, or some city in califronia, completly closed offand they didnt even make it onto the front page of the local paper. and even if they did give protesters the attention the media would show the protesters as crazy liberals. for some crazy reason, which i will never understand, liberal is now looked at as a bad thing. plus look at the protests that there are already. havent gotten shit done

Hahah, no, protesting IS useless. can you think of one petition or protest that actually really made a big difference? Neither can I. Last month there was a Million Marijuana march in Portland. The reason I didnt go was because of Portlands police. They are pretty fuckin violent in order to keep "order." I know this dude who protested once when he had a broken arm, and when the police ordered the crowd to dispatch he started walking home and got tackled and beat the shat out of him by 2 bike cops (they broke his other arm, too!) They said he was "throwing bottles" how fucked up is that.

Whenever they get a hostage they usually have a good reason. Daniel Pearl wasnt executed immediately, the reason they captured him in the first place was because of the US building bunkers over "sacred land" or some shit like that, and the reason they executed him was because the US didnt give a shit and didnt even try to save him... If YOU were the terrorist right then and there, would you let him live, and have the US win this round, or cut off his freakin head and TRY to make a point to that big greedy country known as the USA? so I guess the moral of the story is, dont count on your government for shit, because they'll leave you for dead in a heartbeat as long as it might save them a few dollars...
