people here consider weed music kotton mouth kings and 311 and bands that sing about smoking.. i hate it so much.

normal rap is bad enough, but weed rap is just out of control.

best bands are grateful dead, phish, the beatles, the doors, pink floyd, the who, talking heads, billy joel, yeah thats pretty much all i listen to really

I couldn't have put it any better myself Distortion. Don't get me wrong, I like some of todays music but it's just lacking of something. Don't quite know what it is. Maybe talent? It just seems to me like there was a certain "classic" quality most bands of the 60's and 70's had. For example, the songs are still listened to frequently today. No one is gonna remember Lil' Jon or Limp Bizkit 30 years down the road.

Too true. That pisses me off aswell.Especially cause my man always takes ages to pick up himself so i have to wait for him which sucks arse.I bet loads of peeps have the same problem though.

well obviously by the response given to your first post, alot of us listen to different music, and there's no fucking way you can tell us that what I listen to is not stoner music.

So what if you see a bunch of dicks listening to that music, they're fucking people too, you can't exlude them from culture you close minded child.

Some of my mates never smoke weed but we still enjoy listening 2 the same music. It never pisses me off when i go round 2 his n he sticks sum bob marl on or sum Jimmi H.

I went on a trip with the rest of the team to a skatepark in Leeds yesterday called "The Works." On the coach there were only 3 stoners: me, fish and spud, though when we slapped some Distillers in the cd deck, everyone loved it.

The Distillers aren't a band that would be classed as general "stoner music" by people on here, but it's what me and fish listen to alot when we're stoned.
