Yo. I'm having kind of a shitty day.

Honestly, I still want Dan to be ... everything, I can't put him away. I need to keep talking and I really appreciate everyone who has listened... you can't know how crucial it is.

Yet, I find myself getting upset when this thread slows down, and that's not right. I guess I realized today that i need somewhere to go where it is all about Dan. I found a really nice forum dedicated to grieving people and whoah... I don't know. It's good, I think, to hear other's stories and know that as lame as this is, it could be worse. Dan was young but not so young we didn't know who he would be.

I'd liek to share the pics now of Dan as a young boy. He was adorable. These pics are ... so much to me because after this installment, there was divorce and strife and we stopped taking pictures.

After this I have only one more installment of pictures to share with you guys.

Thanks guys, it means a lot to me.

I don't have any digital pictures of the dark years, so the photo sequence picks up again when he's about 14. (Well he's about 12 in the first one, and I was 16). This is the Dan you all would have wanted to know, to smoke a bowl with this dude was chill. He hung out with 10-15 other dudes, and from what I can gather he was at the top of the pack, so to say. Which might be because he worked hard so he always had money to throw down and he had two cars - a baracuda, his dream, and a cadillac he paid $5,000 for and planned to work on and sell.

This guy was one of my best friends in life. I have come to realize he was a sacrifice... in so many ways. I wish his teenage years could have been happier. Behind those eyes is the soul of a young man who was locked down and not treated right. He was charming, nice and fun to be around anyway. Dan was a guy you could count on. Dan loved to have a good time. He was intelligent, with the mind of an engineer. I love my brother and miss him very very very much.
