I was wondering whether you can get used to a type of weed, not all weed in general - I know I have to smoke more than I used to; i have accepted this. Over my Easter holidays when I was back home I was smoking more than I normally do but non of the weed was exactly outstanding. When I went back to uni I took some much nicer looking buds with me and when I smoked them, sure enough they were a lot stronger, some real nice chronic. They were only like that the first few times I smoked it, when I smoke it now, it just seems like any other (fairly decent) weed, not nearly as potent as it once seemed.

Does this happen or am I imaginig it

is it anything to do with it being older? I haven't had it very long

i think your right, i smoked some of the strongest shit in the area for ages, but then started loosing money, started buying other shit, i think different types of weed tripp you out in different ways, which makes em seem stronger sometimes...

different kinds of weed are obviously going to vary in potency, that combined with tolerance are the reasons for these differences

Not in my experience... you can know what it's gonna feel like, but it doesn't change HOW it feels..

What i'm trying to say is if your smoking bud and it seems real good the first few days of smoking it, less than a week later and the exact same weed isn't affecting you in the same way

nah the exact same thing happened to me, my m8 got these deales and 1st we got this bud of them it seemed strong then eventually it got shit, then they bought round sum new stuff and it was quality, this happened a couple of times.

i think that you feel higher the first few times smokin new weed, because your not used to that type of high. if you went from smokin schwagg to smokin crip, then your definitely gonna feel somethin different lol.

however, different strains of bud produce different types of THC, so i guess it is possible to get a higher tolerance to a certain type of THC than another.
