First Hemp should though, because it is a renewable crop, you can grow in the same spot for up to 7years without roatating them. The yield of one crop produces as much fiber as a whole god damn forest of trees.
You can make almost every thing we use in this country out of hemp, clothes (and everything else made out of cloth), paper(which includes art paper, school paper, books, newspapers, wallpaper ..etc), oils, GAS (SHOCK), shampoo, conditioner, soap .... etc etc etc. The effects of starting to harvest hemp would pull our world out of the global warming crisis, and into harmony with the world. It would be such a good thing, that thats why were not going to do it
Second, Marijauna should be legalized because of its medicinal effects. It helps people with a bunch of problems, not limited to but including:
M.S, Fybromyalgia, Lupus, Arthritis, Quadrapalegics, Cancer Paitients, Anerexics .... ADHD, Glaucoma, partial spinal cord injury , AIDS, and just about every other disorder that causes muscle pain or nausea.
I have fybromyalgia, and even though that doesnt effect the way I look, its EXTREMEMLY painful. Because you cant tell , just by looking at me(im a pretty fit good looking 20 year old), its hard to get people to take me seriously. There for, its hard to get treatment, and when I tell the doctor "this isnt working" he just pumps more pain meds into my blood which makes me very tired and unable to do shit. With marijuana,. I can smoke a bowl and still write papers, program, and do just about anything else .. without pain. Its wonderful and will always be a blessing in my life, as it will for many many other people. For the U.S. government to deny people with these conditions to smoke marijuana, they are sentencing us to a life in pain, or a life in a medicated coma ... there playing god, and thats not acceptable.
But, as rosenthal says, the reason why its not legal is because everyone hasnt stood up and said "WE WANT MARIJUANA TO BE LEGAL" .or atleast not enough people. So, if your american, and you want to help people who are sick and yourself, PLEASE VOTE. Vote locally most importantly, make sure you know who your representatives are and use them to get what you want done in congress. Too many people give up because they have to get off their lazy ass and do some research, or they stop at the president because they dont want to get off their lazy ass and vote local. Your part of the reason why these people have to suffer .. just remember that.
