That thread has kind of died... I know I should unsticky it since no one replies anymore, but I just can't bear to, yet. If it can stay there people can still know about it, like tommyD. Thank you, Tom, for your personal messages and your effort to rally the crew to have a smoke session for Dan. I didn't expect to be... well, that doesn't matter, a million things remind me of him and I don't expect to feel the way I do, a pain that I didn't create for myself, a pain you can't walk away from... you know? Last weekend there was a football game at his highschool that was dedicated to him... but no one told us, so we missed it.

Synergism is the power of collective thought, and pretty special to me... if everyone thinks of him at the same time I'm just sure he can feel it where he is now... and I want so bad for him to know that he is not forgotten, maybe for most people when he died their lives went back to normal, even people in my extended family and friends, but not for those who loved him. It's obvious to me he continues on, he's there for me all the time now, but I can never be with him physically again. He was a 17 year old kid, he loved to smoke, eat pizza, go snowboarding, his classic car and hot babes just like so many other kids who are safe in bed tonight. He's not coming home coz he departed while having good clean (if dangerous) fun and we put him in the ground. His laughter and his special voice, so much like my own are gone. I'll never forget him, there isn't a day that goes by he isn't with me... in fact since he died we've gotten closer because in death you belong to those who love you, so live your lives well... he had no dirty secrets in his room, you know he was just a good kid. And TommyD, I don't think you read beyond the first post, the first information we got on his death was that he hit rocks, but he didnt... he just hit the water at an angle and was knocked out, inhaling when he plunged deep under. I'm crying pretty hard now, for this has triggered a session of grief, but I welcome it because it is important not to stuff my pain. Weedguru has been a good outlet that I haven't been using due to lack of response, so thank you for responding.
