the weather

The summer has ended,
Any chance of time in the sea has been suspended,
Sunshine put on hold,
now comes the rain, the dark clouds and the cold,

so little we were blessed with,
in the warmest months of this year,
I could count on my two hands,
The amount of days that were dry and clear.

But about the weather I wont complain,
Cos to be honest I enjoy the rain,
Especially when it’s accompanied by thunder,
And flashes of lightning from the sky we live under.

I like the seasonal changes,
The way nature suddenly re-arranges,
The stage for life for everyone who lives down here,
Winter we stay inside,
In summer can go outside to drink the beer.

The weather makes people happy,
It makes people sad,
It can injure, even kill,
Drive a man mad.

This force that governs over our existence,
Connects to our souls with persistence,
So for this power,
Responsible for every hail shower,
We should show respect,
And try to understand the weathers true daily effect.

godhand kronix, cheers amillion. yeh i trying to broaden my horizons alittle!i really appreciate the comments as it pushes me to keep writing my poems or rhymes.....hope all cool in your life and i proper ecstatic if you can honestly realte to the way i feel about this world where we live..
