This poem was written right after i found out that my friend had taken her life...

“Icy Breath”

Life is Life, Death is Death
For the Reaper has cast his icy breath

The Breath is among us and our souls are weak,
A tear has formed upon my cheek

For we are tomorrow and today is today
Life must go on, day after day

The sun rises and so must we
So hold on and you will see that it wasn't you and it wasn't me

But it was her…our buttercup Flower
And it is now noticed... Death's colossal power
Death is upon us, creating fear
And we now see that the end is near

thanks guys, yes i do believe things happen for a reason, her 1 year anniversary is coming up on november 11th, im gunna give this poem to her parents, i dunno maybe it will help them. I appreciate ur sweetness guys
