Galantamine

I was reading the New York Times magazine thing and there was this article about lucid dreaming. the author said that he went to this place where they help you dream lucidly. he was given a nutritional supplement called galantamine which stimulates the neurotransmitter called acetycholine which supposedly heigtens your dream state. he was also given a NovaDreamer (made by the same person who runs the clinic) which seems real cool but it costs like $500-$800 
. anyways, i was wondering if you think the galantamine would work or if its bullshit.
