hey guys,

last tuesday my girlfriend went on holiday to spain for 2 weeks. i have been smoking pot on an average of 1/4 hash per week for 2 years, and i smoke it with my g/f, and we've been together for about 6 months now. the longest we've spent apart do far is about 2 days, so this is killing me. after almost a week, i'm paranoid to fuck about her getting off with other guys, and on the other hand i'm missing her like hell so this feeling is horrible. i don't know what i can do to resolve it, i already smoke quite a lot of weed.

how can i make this temporary pain go away? ignorance will not work. neither will apathy.

Well first off if you really want to be with her and everythign i think you should trust her enough not to fuck around...

well if you feel that way about her, shouldnt you assume that she misses you too and is hoping you aren't doing anything with any girls, if you think about it that way, should make you feel better

thanks guys. i go to work every day for an hour (it's only a small job) and have tried going to bed early and waking up late, smoking quite a lot of pot, hangin out with mates, etc - however i'm still really paranoid and i'm almost 100% sure it's down to the ganj. i never thought i'd say this but i think cannabis has made me feel a lot more insecure

nah one thing i aint doing is turning to alcohol, i'll just stick to my weed, altho i smoked the majority of my stash last night and i have 2 joints rolled to last me for the week!

You spend £10 a week on weed?? You think you smoke alot?? I smoke a quarter a day usually, and sometimes i still feel like shit over my girlfriend. Weed doesn't usually help the situation, it cheers you up a little, makes you look on the brighter side of things, but the problem's still there and you can't forget that.

Weed, when used properly and with the right people, can make it easier for you to distract yourself. Unfortunatly the shitty feeling you have in the background will always stay.

no, i spend 15quid a week on weed, but put it in with 4 other mates. we all put 15 quid in and get 75 quid's worth (an ounce and a half) and just burn off when we want it, but i smoked about 1/4-1/2oz over the space of saturday/sunday. i smoked one of those joints before, i'm smoking another tonight.
