see title, i think england have a really good chance this year, ppl get 2 down on friendly results when there are so many changes that the result is irrelevent. my dark horses would be czech republic, nedved owns. who would be your tip?

Realistically we are underdogs, but that just where we english thrive. If Wayne Rooney turns it on and Owen steps it up a gear we are really in with a shot. I think Defoe should have been in the squad. I think he has the makings of a prodigy hero ala Owen 98.
France will probably win it though, they seem to be unstopable at the moment, unless someone injures Henry (which i think someone should do, it would benefit all nations involved. Intentional fouls on Henry all round if your reading fellas)

ye defoe should of deffernetly gone, france will be faverites but i dont think there unbeatable, and also theres an arragonce about them (zidane said england had no chance of beating them) which i think probley led to there downfall at the 2002 world cup....

i want england 2 win it and we def have the quality 2 do so, i reckon rooney shood get out and get defoe in the team, i think sum1 shood take henry but not 2 badly we need for next season! i robbed the england carboard display thing from mcdonalds, its now on my wall very nicely

I think Defoe should defintley be in the team but also rooney if you were going to drop anyone it would defintley be Heskey cause he is crap.
And it would be nice if Some one did take out Henry and keep him out for a season or two cause aresenal would be nothing without him .
But exatcly how do you stop someone like Zidane , . . . .

Yeah it has to be France if they get their act together. I'd say Czech repuclic are going to shock a lot of people as well, Nedved - worlds best player.

i thought italy would win until they played denmark, god they were awful. i hate to say it, but germany played well against holland *ducks to avoid glass bottles*. none of the teams have really caught my eye, so i'll stick with italy.
but c'mon england!!! i think they've got a decent chance to be honest. if we don't win the footy, we've got hooligan championships owned
