I might get a chance to smoke some hash this weekend, never smoked hash before cuz i always smoke bud, but whats diffrent in the high?

In my experience the high has been more mellow with hash. Not quite as intense, but an excellent feeling nevertheless.

makes me feel soo stoneeeeeed, only feel high for the first half after that i just turn into a cabbidge.

Can be harsh on your lungs if you not used to smoking it, but is a nice chilled social smoke normally. you know youve got the crap when you find bits of plastic in it and the smoke tastes more like tyres than hash.

i smoke a lot of hash in fact it's all i smoke, i get skunk (bud) on the weekends, but only an eighth and that's ak47 (dunno if you've heard of it) strong shit! but i don't just smoke your average 'rocky', i buy high grade pollen which is nice as fuck. if you have smoked hash but no tried pollen, and you like hash - then i advise trying pollen! jeeeees im high..,

Ive had ak47 once smelt alot different to any bud ive smoked since. Was a nice strain but not the most potent ive tried..

um..i dont know if there's any point in answering his question since he asked it last year!!!!!!!!.....but since bandwidth is no longer an issue...

you chaps should really get your asses down here and try some of the wonderful maal we have here....
small story:

shifted house last weekend. Removed the rug in my bedroom and went out to the balcony to dust it (before rolling it and packing it away)...found enough hash stuck to it to make 3 spliffs...(good sized ones too!!)..
am very fortunate to have two dealers as friends (or "smoking buddies" anyway) plus a trip up to the mountains once in three months is almost always profitable....

To new people smoking hash:
How to tell if its good shit: pull it apart with your finger nails.There shouldnt be any other color other than black. there shouldnt be any "hair". check for softness. if its just soft, then its also got a hell of a lot of boot polish and other such shit in it. should also be sticky.
The better the hash, the more like the plant it should smell. (there is the hash smell..and there's the smell of the plant itself. If you can smell the latter, there's enough genuine maal in there...

altough you have to add waaay more tabacco, weed burns from itsself, hash doesnt so thats a negative point.

I'd just do it dude, the effects "should" normally be the same as weed good luck.

i'd just like to add please post correct information here as your chatting shit. if you smoke hash like i smoke hash, red eyes are prominent, it has a sickly sweet but at the same time kinda sour smell to it and have you have took hash in a lung? harsh as a muthafucker. im not normally one for criticising and im by no means tryin to offend but as a heavy hash smoker my only suggestion is your gettin some shit hash?

It's all about personal preference. I would never trade bud for hash, but some hash is very very good.

I smoked lotsa hash, never really bothered the smell, neither the red eyes. Weed always smells and about hte red eyes, its just a small benefit. But i like hash as much as weed, they just have different ups and downs. As long as it gets me high, its ok.

Hash smells way less than pot, or atleast the smell is less noticeable and lingers around for less time.

Hash is the drug of choice in prisons up here where I live for this reason and the reason that it is smaller and easier to smuggle.
