how big are they? are you trying to flower with the 12/12? i use a 2/4 cycle for vegetative growth and switch to 12/12 when i think my babies are ready for it
plus if you hae a shitty light, the lower leaves might not be getting enough light....reflectors? is the area well ventilated? pm me if you want some help

Either
* Lack of light
* Under or over fertilising
* Under or over watering
Which way are the leaves shrivelling, you can tell from that. How much you fert and how much you water as well?

its a plant, all you need to do is get the basics right and it should grow fine. Though for better quality you have to go all out of course

could also be bad PH.

Sarcasm is one of the most intelligent forms of humour if applied correctly. lol...
Anywhooo... your plants lower leaves are doing what?? Curling and turning brown... Youre on a 12/12 cycle...
How long have you been in 12/12??
Your plants will start to use the nutrients stored in the leaves as they get nearer the end of the flowering cycle.
If its nothing to do with flowering (you dont give enough information for me to decide) then have a look at this link...

That may be of some help to you...
