Saddam "found" in a hole - is this really true?

I heard that on the BBC they're reporting a story that American news channels arn't reporting. They're saying that a bunch of Turks found Saddam, drugged him, and put him in that hole. For the Americans to "find". Can anyone confirm seeing this news story? Pretty funny if it's true.

George bush didn't find saddam, US troops did :b
And does it really matter how he ended up in a little mud house? We kicked his ass either way.

But sadam had a gun with him in the hole to defend himself, so if a whole bunch of people were stuffing him in a hole and then they just gave him a gun to defend himself with, he probibly would have just shot them and tried to escape.
I think he put himself in that hole

When you think about it, it might not have even been the real sadamm hussain that they found. he probably is though.

Why would a fake one of no importance to anybody lie on a hole for days holding a gun?
