The only good NOFX is no NOFX. They are the commercial gateway band for punk rock. You want some real punk rock check out The Germs or The Unseen or A Global Threat.

I am not a fan of punk, but rather grunge, industrial, 70's (manly Hendrix), hardcore, progressive (only when stoned), and typical rock

i used to be into the nofx kids, global threat, virus, and one day i listened to sum hopefall and now im all about techno and melodic hardcore
punk rock seems dull to me now.

Now? Punk rock has seemed dull to me since the day it was invented..
Yeah there is some good punk music out there but most of it is just ridiculously fast 2-step beats on every song and fucking girly guys "singing" with whiney ass voices..every song sounds the same and it gives me a fucking headache..
Sorry guys I have just had a really bad day and need something to rant about.

the mainstream "punk" now seems to be shitty stuff like fall out boy and shit
theres alota good punk out there at warped tour theres plenty madcap, avoid one thing, flogging molly (not rele that punk but at warped tour), the casulties, bad religion

Nay, I don't even care for the casualities. I like the really political punk like Conflict. World Burns to Death is a mix of crust and well yeah, it's good shit. Black Metal influences in it, etc. <3 Good shit. The MTV Punk is just for kids who want to be cool and fit in high school, which they usually do because everybody in High School usually has horrible taste in music. XD
