Anyone got a GED instead of a highschool diploma ? and are u livin good ?

My bro does. Hes workin with my dad right now for 10 dollars a hour. Hes 20 now. Hes a stoner too. But he didnt give a fuck about school he went to school jus to deal. He was a big time dealer in his school. Didnt even go to his classes tho. Hed come home with like 500-600 bucks a day jus from sellin weed in school. But then he dropped out and was jus lazy for awhile and sat around the house gettin high and nuttin much else cuz we moved out of the hood. But know hes finnally doin something with his life. If you want to drop and get a GED jus dont be lazy. If you take some time off from doin shit for awhile you ainet gonna want to start a job later on. Well good luck with whatever you do homie.

yeah i waited to late to start goin to school now im goin and ima join JROTC some junior recruit operation training corps and u get a uniform and everything its free too, that'll change my attitude twards school i know it, plus i got a job now 9 bucks an hour ima go to work on the 9th of november and work the weekend and get 180 bucks just for em 2 days and ima buy SMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOKE

just be careful, cause if you get caught with any drugs or whatever and you're in JROTC, you'll be booted, plus i think you'll loose some military opportunities.

i know, because of bein in JROTC would i get drafted when im older just for participating ?

no way.. plus i doubt we'll ever have a draft, just dont worry about that aspect

A ha. The perfect thread to make my announcement. After reviewing my credentials, it has been revealed that I am much closer to graduating than I thought! I only have 8 more classes to take, and then I'll have a degree in English from a private university! And guess what, I don't have a high school diploma OR a GED!!! There is a loop-hole: community college. The entrance exams for C.C. are harder than the GED. Place well on those, get your A.A., and you can transfer into a good university if you get good grades. And go on to law school, even if you're a highschool drop-out like me.

muchos congratulations from over here! i plan on being a musician in life but it is so damn hard to promote my band. if worst comes to worst ill become an independent drummer or a botanist
