hey as we got so many members i thought it might be interesting for evryone to say alittle about their city or town, then we can build up like a stoner guide to the world or something like that. lets start with me.

i live in brighton,england. i hated it here at first but now i like it cos i met some of the most amazing people i ever met in this town. its the most expensive place i ever lived in, rent is lots and not a huge amount of jobs around. the nightlife here never really impressed me greatly, so now i only go out if an artist i know is playing here or if someone i know is having a party, i prefer to go to peoples houses, eat drink and smoke, then you know the company gunna be wicked for the night. theres quite a lot of violent crime in brighton. we have amix of locals and students and pyschos. when i first came here a freind said to me 'be careful dan, theres a lot of damaged people here' and he was right. brighton has a reputation of been cosmopolitan but i unsure if this a fitting tag. people seem to come here and think that if they dress werid then they more part of the scene, but really they just look like they trying to be something they are not. the drinking culture is evident here as much as newhere i have lived in uk. it is wicked having the sea here cos you can swim whenver you want, the beach is shit thought, all stoney. lots of good people and lots of bad people, and it takes time to fit in here i think.
i got quite a good viewpoint of society as a whole working as a fishmonger(i speak to every customer i come acroos whther they want fish or not)in sainsburys, i enjoy my life here to be honest but i know that i want to go back to my home city of melbourne.
brighton- a big town of crime,drugs,drink,the sea, parties,hills, expense.

Manchester, England, UK

Its pretty sweet in central Manchester atm. Of course aroud teh city it has its good parts, and bad parts, but which city doesn't, right?

In central Manchester there was a biiig bomb blast for the IRA - Since then soooooo many millions of pounds have been spent in regenteration. And tbh its been well spent, the city centre is as modern as any aroudn the country, and its got loadsssss of facilities

my city is located on a major port of entry into the US from Mexico. Yup, this is where most of the weed is smuggled into, then into the rest of the US Of course, its mexican weed, not that great but oh well..

Other than that my city is boring as hell, its pretty big but theres nothing to do. most peopl;e here just cross the border into mexico to have a good time.

i live in phoenix arizona.. ya its hot.. OH and theres this one thing here.. its really hot.. its 104 F right now :-/

my city is boring and there is nothing to do... we have a mall but it really really really sucks... this summer we didnt even have a god damn swimming pool... we still dont because they are rebuilding it... for entertainment all we have here is a bowling alley the mall and a movie theatre that is only big enough to show two movies... airdrie sucks!

i'm from perth western australia....i think its one of the most isolated cities in the world.........pretty cool especially in summer with kick ass beaches and temperatures of up to 40 C

I'm from a suburb of Sherbrooke Quebec, which has a population of approximately 100, 000. Its is I believe, the third largest city in the province. We are sort of in a valley somewhere in the Appalachian Mountains...bout 1 hour from the USA border to the state of Vermont.
In the summer we can get temps up to about 35 degress...in the winter we have gone as low as -40 degress!! Yes winter...I hate winter. We get buried under feet after feet of wet, cold snow, pelted with freezing rain and then to top it of, the power usually goes out!! Mind you, in the summer we do have just the right weather for growing weed..lol
Nothing much special ever happens here. Nothing special ever happens here. We have to drive 11/2 hours to Montreal for the good stuff.
Theres not much serios crime here...We get like 1 maybe 2 murders a year. They are usually over drugs or else some psycho from out of town that kidnapps, rapes and kills a girl. The drug industry here is controlled by the Hells Angels. They have a bunker here right square in the middle of town . All equipped with chain link fences, camers, dog, bullet-proof windows..but they never casue much shit. They keep in theyre own world and dont bother the law abiding citizens.

with temperatures like that do people ever kill themseleves with depression. in sweeden or somewhere the people do suicide because they get depressed with low temperatures and little hours of daylight, seriously. im stonded.

my girlfriend and i are moving to canada for a few years to work
