im soooo happy... today my friend pointed out that since my room is the only room in the house with a door to my attic, the attic would be perfect for me to use as a "growing area" :P my dad has 5 jars with the bottom full of seeds... so now i gota do the hard part and quit buying weed for a month or two so i can get enough money for a light and good soil and stuff... but all my friends will share their weed with me cuz i smoke them out when ever i have weed... ya so im so happy... i have wanted to grow for soo long... now im just worried about saving my money and the smell when i get my first plant... if i use like a bunch of popere (i cant spell it so if u dont know what i was trying to spell... those dried flower petals and stuff that smell...) and im gona put it around my plant in a couple little dish type things... so do you guys know if that will make the smell go away? cuz im worried about the smell... if my parents smell it they will put me in a rehab program and a bording school... some of my friends are gona help me get some money by hooking me up with some babysitting type jobs and stuff and they are gona give me a little bit of there own money so i can plant it and stuff sooner.. so ya hopefully i wont have to go that long with out buying my own pot or getting a bunch...

my dads seeds are like all different... theres hundreds of each kind and they are all the same except the ones in a couple jars are bigger then the others and they range from a weird pale beige/tope color to a lite brownish type of color... are they just different kinds or are the darker ones like bad or something?

if i put 2 or 3 seeds all together and plant them together will that like make the plant three diff. kinds of weed or will it mess up the plants growth or anything?

what kind of light is best for growing a nice plant? (i read the growing guide but it didnt really say which is best and im gona talk to some guys that i know that grow tomorrow but untill then i was wondering what u guys think...)

Jesus that sounds like a pretty risky paln to me. Its probably not going to be easy. Takes several months to grow weed you know. Lots of time to get caught!! Maybe you should wait till you get your own pad

i know it takes a long time... but im willing... and im willing to take the risk... my parents are really stupid so i doubt they will find out... and after i buy all the stuff i can buy my weed again untill my plant grows...

the only thing im worried about is growing it... lol. its sounds harder then i thought it was... lol.

my mum has just allowed me to use her hydrophonic set up with a sodium light bulb. she hasnt used it for about 5 years. and she said that she will get me a cutting from the next door neighbour. also my friend said he can get me some seeds called imperial kush. but my mum doesnt want me to use the set up in our house so im doing it with my friend in his attic. but she said that the light gives off alot of heat and helicopters will e able to see that im am growing because they have infa red. so i am going to have to try and see if he can do it under the stairs. the light that she has got can grow about 6 plants but the last time she duid it she grew 2 fat plants which made about 6 pounces on each plant they were so fat.

1 HPS light , even if its a 1000 watt , won't be enough to be getting you caught by infrared. You have to emit way more light to make them suspicious or worth the time and money to do such an operation. If you've got a thing going with 4 or 5 thousand watts then you might want to start worrying. Depends where you live but the majority of police stations don't have helicopters let alone infrared. Mostly in big city areas. A helcopter costs a city about 1.5 million...then the infrared is another $500,000...then the licensed pilot/police officer needs a salary of $52,000 a year, then the salary of the co-pilot, and the law enforcement on the ground...etc....get my point? They don't be wasting that on 6 plants.
The only way you'd probably get caught with infrared is if the police had already been tipped off about your place. Then they'd check it out. Keep your mouth shut and don't tell a sole about it and you should be okay

there are quite alot of helicopters in my area, every night there is a couple going around but if 1000 watt light bulbs cant be seen by infared it should be ok

Are they police helicopters or private and news helicopters? Are they copters from your police county or just others passing over??

And ya the 1000 watt bulb can be seen but it not enough to create alarm like I said

HPS are usually only in 400 or 1000 watt or more I believe

It's too late to help you probably but there is a new strain called Katchou which is said to be as odourless as you can get and very strong. Perhaps others have used it?

helicopters up here in michigan use infa red, cuz marijuania gives off more heat than the plants around it....


Some guy about 20 miles from me got busted and caught with over 800 Plants......


There was like 4 NightHawk Helicopters or somethin like that....

You just proved my point....you said 800 plants...thats far differnet from 2 plants in your bedroom...Do you have any idea how much wattage it takes to grow that many pplants indoors and over how large an area. We're not talking 100watts here...more like 10's of thousands of watts and square feet.

One 1000 watt light put my electric bill up by 20 or 25 bucks max.

my friend amd i will start growin soon... with 2 hps of 150watts each. we will also insert a carbon filter relied to a cpu fan directly attached to the growing box. we will add 2 more fans inside for extra air circulation
