Gentlemen Broncos

This movie hit me out of nowhere while surfing around Netflix. I read that the same people that did Napoleon Dynamite did this movie. ND was worth watching, yet I didn't love it like I love Gentlemen Broncos.

The two actors that made me want to watch this are Sam Rockwell (Galaxy Quest, The Green Mile) and Jemaine Clement of 'The Flight of the Conchords'. Though the characters they play are funny, the guy that plays the director Lonnie had me in stitches...especially early in the movie during the school bus scene.

I happily give this movie a 9 out of 10.

I, sadly, bought this movie without knowing anything about it.

The only parts I found funny were the movie/book cutscenes :/

Awww. Out of everyone here, I was thinking you would have liked this one, Andria.

So many parts cracked me up in this movie:

-Lonnie "oooh" -ing on the bus
-Benjamin's lunch that his mom packed for him
-Benjamin's 'angel', in general...especially the gross snake scene
-Sam Rockwell as the 'ballsy' Bronco and the flaming Brutus

You should watch it again, or save it for when I come over for a visit and we'll watch it together and do each other's toenails.

I found it quirky, and highly amusing in certain places, mate...that asian film maker made me chuckle the most. Neither superb nor poor, somewhat interesting and pleasant all round. Dr Chevalier, is worth a few chuckles, especially when he first appears. Animal Rating 6.5/10
