A question

whats up everyone, i usually smoke joints, and my friend just got a bowl. I know how to smoke out of it but he keeps telling me to take a shotgun hit, can someone explain to me what it is because i know that his definition of a shotgun is not where someone blows the smoke into your mouth, so can you experts explain to me what a shotgun hit on a bowl is.

as far as i know, shotgunning off a pipe is when you plug the carb and when the chamber is filled you unplug and breathe it in quickly.
but i could be wrong...

shotgun is the first hit...shotty is when u blow it in some1s mouth

i always thought it was when you start to inhale covering the shotgun hole (whatever its called) and then keep inhaling and let go of the hole....you get some real nice hits like that
