To travel overseas.

Post by tebulot »

Uncomfortably, needlessly, and painfully hot right now. Nearing 40 degrees celcius (round about 100 Fahrenheit), and suddenly I question myself, and my decision to return to my hometown for the new year. My new years resolution is somewhat along the lines of NOT coming back here again unless it's absolutely necessary, so I've decided to spend the new years celebrations abroad in 2011/12.

And the question I pose to you all, friends and family of WG; Where shall I travel? The States? The Great White North? Anywhere that actually gets cold, and maybe even snows. :D

I've never seen snow in my life.

Canada of course!

It's no longer white here though(atleast not in my part of Canada)...it all melted over New Years which is really weird for this time of the year. It's usually like -20C...

They blame El Nino...poor guy, he gets blamed for all the weird weather :P

Visit Belgium mate :) we got the best beers, chocolates, french fries and deep fried foods in the world.
Computer games don't affect kids. I mean, if Pac-Man had affected us as kids, we would all be running around darkened rooms, munching magic pills, and listening to repetitive electronic music.

I'll even bring a few 1.25l bottles of bundaberg rum with me, since you poor international fellows don't really get the oppurtunity to have any. The company output production doubled a few years ago to expand internationally... Australians just started drinking twice as much :)

Hah, why? Is this a customs thing, or a personal tastes issue :p

the most wonderful places I have been to are...India, Egypt and Nepal. All of which are places which, for the duration of my immersion into their cultures, was so vibrant, such a fierce, beautiful onslaught on my senses, that I never once thought of home...only the NOW.

As for me...I have a constant eagerness, to visit Damascus...
