China and Russia Quit Dollar

St. Petersburg, Russia - China and Russia have decided to renounce the US dollar and resort to using their own currencies
for bilateral trade, Premier Wen Jiabao and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin announced late on Tuesday.

Wen said at the press conference that the partnership between Beijing and Moscow has "reached an unprecedented level" and pledged the two countries will "never become each other's enemy".

Sure it's only for bilateral trading, but Russia and China are smart enough to know the dollar is in big trouble and could be making moves to dodge the bullet here.

yeah... wise on there part if they can predominantly support each other through import/exports....
soon the countries around them/rely on them... will have the opportunity to swap as well...

Yes, and I'm glad Europe got the Euro, if the world depended on the dollar and the financial whizzkids of Wallstreet things would go to shit kind of like they did now, only worse.
