Scott Pelgrim vs The world

Based on a manga comic I had never heard of prior to watching the movie.

It's with the kid from zombieland and it's definitely clear it's based on some weird japanese comic so those aspects are in there but they aren't too distracting or disturbing at all.

The story itself is quite vague but the movie moves along at a good rate, i'm not telling too much because you simply have to see it. It's witty,funny and doesn't draw things out too long and the whole japanese background vibe that's shining through gives the movie a fresh atmosphere.


I give it an 8/10

basically this looks horrible and i will never give it a chance no matter that anybody tells me.

I think it's a great fun movie, high tempo, tons of crazy CGI and dirty garage music.

Must be even better stoned though!

^Too true, he's so typecast. It is Michael Cera btw Flow, not Jesse Eisenberg (the guy from Zombieland who I might hate even more).

I've actually heard good things about this movie and it looks pretty fun. I'll have to give it a go with the girlfriend at some point, although I have a feeling she will hate Cera.

I liked Cera in the Arrested Development TV show. Year One wasn't that great of a movie, in my opinion.

Other than that, I can't speak for Cera. I saw Superbad but didn't pay much attention to him. Was too busy laughing at McLovin and Jonah Hill's character.

On a side note, did anyone else hear that they're coming out with a new Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure movie???? I'm stoked for that shit! I loved the originals!

Never seen Bill and Ted's Adventure....gonna have to see if it's on netflixs.

Really though..what's with all the remakes? I'd like to see a good orginal movie for once.

The Bill and Ted movie isn't actually a remake. It's a sequel!! It's going to star the original actors who played Bill and Ted! Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter!
