So i know i should know this by now, but what actually happens if your weed catches on fire? like it actually has a little flame... i was just lighting some in a bowl and noticed that it had a tiny little flame that was from the thc crystals burning off, and the stuff on the outside of the bud.. but does this destroy the THC? cause it's got to be like .... 800 degrees F, for it to burn like that... i try not to flame it, but i never really noticed how it does a little tiny flame over the bud where you're lighting it....

Also, i haven't the slightest clue where to put this, but guru council was the closest i could find...

Nah, it didn't really tell me whether it gets destroyed in the temperatures reached by a lighter flame.

I would imagine it does.

They say when your cooking weed biscuits oven temp must not be higher than 170 d gas 5 as it will destroy thc

^ its not that its destroyed, its that its burned away rather than combined with the fat and oils in whatever was being cooked.

I put your two posts together higher as they were made not five minutes after each other.

And as far as I know fire destroys THC,it activates it and it burns the material a bud consists of.

Actually I was aiming for something more like "if subjected to enough heat, can the molecular structure of THC be altered enough to cause it to have no effect, or less effect, than if it was only vaporized at low heat?" ...

If it all burns off before you inhale it then I guess so eh
