Love the first one, definately a good tune to get people dancing.

The dubstep one is good chill music.

I've never heard the orginials of these songs so I have nothing to compare them to. Nevertheless I effin love both of them. Good job.

Why thankyou! I'm trying to find a vocalist sometime in the near future to use in a few songs... It's so much easier to make a song sound good when you have vocals to work with.

And yeah I took a bit of a weed break, hence the break from the weed forums... haha. I enjoy it too much to stay away from getting high altogether though.

Don't usually like to do these but I did a little mashup today. Forgot about dre vocals mixed with the song Play Doe by Joker (dubstep artist if you havent heard him).

Nice man, seems like you got the hang of eq'ing huh Love the dubstep remix, not so for trance but that's simply not my genre, it sounds awesome though!

Been fiddling with producing for a couple of months but still need to figure out how to eq everything correctly. Here's some of my stuff, crap though.

Cool stuff man! My fav was moody, I think if you dropped a big bassline into that it'd be real sick.

Sounds like you have some of the same problems as me with producing, I don't have trouble coming up with ideas... it's just making them sound "professional" thats my problem.

I've been making dance beats way longer than I have dubstep too and I haven't totally figured out the bass "wobble" technique yet. ooooh just listened to "ringer" sounds like you've got the dirty wobble down!

^ What software do you use?

I started out with Fruity loops last year, switched to Ableton a few months ago, Just getting the hang of using that now

I used to use 'Massive' synth to get my wobbles, but it seems that the version I found doesn't work properly in ableton 8 so I'm using it's in built 'simpler' instrument to get the necessary LFO's

What do you use to EQ? I should actually find the frequencies for the drums /harmonics , right now it sounds drowned out on some of my friends' systems.

oops, sorry for the late reply. I use sony acid 6 but am looking to switch to something better.

I downloaded that massive synth, havent used it for any dirty bass lines yet but im liking the features and layout.

To be honest I really don't use anything specific for EQ-ing, thats something I need to work on. For the most part I just try and use combinations of sounds that dont overwhelm one another but it's tough to do that and still get the sound you want.

Cool bass synth sound in that "eerie" track, i think it'd be cool to go back and forth between that and another fat bass

^Yeah, for me the problem is that on my current system things sound good, but when I play the same track at on other systems or at other people's places the kicks/snares don't have the punch they have on my system, same goes for the bass and pretty much everything :/

haha I didn't even think of it, but I have been listening to alot of joker lately. Was just going for an uplifting song cause my songs aren't usually, I might need to de-cheese it a little haha.

I find it pretty darn enjoyable!
