Houseboat or Winnebago?
If you were trying to opt out of the usual "living in a house, loft or apartment" thing, which would you choose?
houseboat
vs.
RV

Rv for sure. It'd be like camping . Also being on the water all the time in a house boat would get old.

I would go for houseboat, as it would be easier to avoid attack and intrusion if you were not moored to the land. Whereas in a campervan or similar, access is easy for would be foes. Still...at least in a car, if you are not slaughtered in your sleep, you can drive after the swine and mow them down. Which would be harder on a boat, especially a houseboat, as they move like sloths...I love the idea of living in a mobile home, especially on the water. But I am unsure how easy it would be to turn it into a fortress, which is always high on my list of prioties. You would need a gunship of sorts...perhaps an old russian frigate complete with live ammuniation and missiles...

A group of hippies did that a couple years ago. I don't think they used a boat though...they made like a raft out of garbage lol. They ported here for the winter and I guess some people took them in.

Id go for a houseboat, or preferably a nice sailboat. That would be pretty sweet. Sailing through and down the coast of North America

That aquatic RV is motherfucking BADASS.
I would have to go with houseboat though, would be cool to just sail about and go fishing in one of those. I don't think I would get tired of livin on the water. Although obviously you can drive the RV to wherever you need to go so it's a tough decision but I'm sticking with houseboat. (because I already voted but now I think about it I'd rather the driving capabilities of the RV

God I think way too much about things)

The houseboat would be cool, but I'm pretty sure I'd get sick of it soon enough. The water scenery would get boring after while. You can do so much more with an RV...and see much more. Like stop at a marina and rent a houseboat for a few days

We took an RV from North Dakota to Alaska a few years back and it was by far the best trip of my life. Once we got to Alaska we rented a charter to take us out overnight in the Northern Pacific, so I got to do a little of both.
