Wondering if any of you guys play dnd also. I have been for about 4 years now, and just curious if many people play it in other countries, and how often? Oh and i'd rather not turn this into a "isnt dnd a boardgame? do you play it on the computer?" kind of thread, but i guess i could do Q and A if need be.

played it five years ago, it was fun but we couldn't really all gather at the same time too often so it kinda died out...

If i would have met someone who played it and became friends with them i would have played. but that never happened. is it really as fun as playing, for example a final fantasy game?

Oh and, the gamecan be way more fun than some of the final fantasies, just as long as your DM knows what he's doing, is organised, has a good imagination and lets you do awesome shit. A good campaign will have countless stories that can be told over and over.

We once had an idiot guy playing called steve (can't remember his real name). Steve was the only one who could kill this guy, seeing as how it was like this evil copy thing of him. The guy was on -30something hitpoints for fucks sake. (steve was an evil character also, go figure). Steve could have killed him by looking to fiercely at him, but OH NO... he had to try and be dramatic. Steve walked away from the body, turned around and drew and flicked a dagger at the eviltwinthingy. Steve missed. Steve failed to kill a dead guy.

Haha, I'm a veteran of a war and I'm a boss in my father's construction company. Nerds mainly sit at home and play video games all day...and they SAY they have a job fixing computers...when in reality, they only fixed one, their own, and just the floppy drive. Don't make me h4x j00 sauce.

First off and foremost, I'd rather not start a feud with anyone on here, so before we take this to a level i'd rather not have it as, how about we cease hostilities that i do sense are escalating. Secondly, nerds are smart, so that means that they find ways to make money other than working, like investing, so nyar

I personally don't see much wrong with dnd, it excersises your imagination, its much more social than a videogame (excluding mmos) and its fun. Wheres the bad part?
