I'm debating whether I should get the 4 gig iphone or not. It looks pretty sweet, but I'm not entirely sure. It's a pretty high price that could go up or down. There could be something similar out there as well?

I had AT&T/Cingular up until last month and it SUCKS!! The internet is SOOOOOOOOOOO slow so the IPHone definitely wont connect to the 'net like it does on the commercials. Im sure the first shipment will have a lot of glitches. I honestly dont see the point because I have a smart phone (a Blackberry Curve) and an 80 Gig IPOD. BUT If you really want it, go for it because it looks like an awesome phone. A little too expensive for me but if you do get it, let us know how it is.

i have a sony w810i and for me its the "best bang for the buck" phone on the market (or else i would of bought the better one ) its equiped with a good cam, 4gig mp3 and all the crap u need to waste time when u have nothing to do...

i have that rogers familly deal and i share my minutes with my mom, but she uses about 1hr
of cell a month. so i have about 540mins per month + week-end and night unlimited
(for 6pm to 5am)all of that for 26$/month (CDN). phone cost me 100$ but i got a 50$ card certificate to futureshop (a big electronic store, like bestbuy) so i just sold that card for 50$ to a friend, and at the end the phone costs me 50$

the only downside of this phone is probably the size of the buttons, so when u wasted its kinda hard to type a phone number, anyways check that phone out


i wouldnt trust the iphone due to the fact that apple as a hard time making understructible ipods so how the hell will they manage to make iphones with a real warranty that wont fuck up in your hands after 2months like a ipod does... maybe ill think about an iphones in a couple years if they are well maded, but right now in 2007 i say fuck that shit

i like the idea...but it will take a fair while for apple to work the bugs out... plus once the first comes out.... its only a matter of time until the competition catches up

i hear the iphone has a bad power suply and when on the net it is hard to read words and it's just real small for beein on the net. They say to wait and buy the next big phone. i heard this on G4

All I hear on G4 is how they wish they weren't at work so they could be standing in line for an iPhone.

Well the thing to remember is that these are the first attempts at tablet pocket pc type mobile devices. These have evolved from the palm types and seem to fit the average guy a little better. I wouldn't touch apple personally they just seem for the ppl that want a trend. But one of these makers will come out with a exelent device soon i suspect.

speaking of my last phone got stolen at work so im looking for a good one (ill turn on my old one for now) and im saving up some cash for it.

The iPhones are actually built a lot more solid then the iPods and the system is really sweet, but I'd still wait until you can get a better deal on it.

^^Apple is pretty trendy right now but I wouldn't avoid something just because it's "mainstream". Most of their stuff really is pretty good unlike other trends like emo and wannabe gangster and shit.
