Okay basically, i havn't been able to get anything for over two weeks now.
wich i must say, sucks.
But i have changed positively for the better. i Have found now, that after a while of not smoking, the brain clears up and This allows more trains of thought to happen, therefore, making your brain work more efficiantly.
The change in the state of mind is amazing.
i have started to read again, and faster than ever, i am able to hold a decent convosation, and have even begun thinking about writing a book, (writing has been a passion of mine for a long time).
Im starting to think that maybe smoking is only for holidays and parties, not everyday life. Dont get me wrong, i still crave marijuana most of the time, but the change it can make in a persons mindstate is just amazing. Should i stick with smoking most days or should i Smoke on occasion. i need help badly.

I would stay off it and let the body detox for a little while. Only then can you really make a decision on how much you want to puff ... the majik dragon... lol

for me, i smoke when i feel like relaxing, its not a thing to get high for me anymore, its just a way to chill out and calmdown. but sometimes, i smoke to get really fucking high and trip the fuck out.

so i guess my advice is, keep on smokeing, but smoke fewer/smaller joints/bowls a day. and try doing it maby everyother day

Unless you are a medical user, you will get the most out of cannabis if you use it sparingly. Plan beforehand where, when, with who and what external stimuli (e.g., music) you will smoke to. Smoke to enhance certain aspects of life such as live concerts, a special tasty meal, sex or significant social gatherings. I would say that a properly planned out and prepared smoking session once or twice a week is enough for the recreational user. Be conservative about the amount of times you smoke, but when you do, use the best erb your money can buy and get a mind-ripping hi.

Regardless of how often you intend to smoke, I feel that it should never be a casual on the move thing, as smoking from a pack of tobacco smokes is. When you are going to smoke, make sure it will be a positive, inmersive experience. In other words don't smoke just for the hell of it; smoke when it will serve a purpose. Every time you smoke it should be a "session".

it be beneficial to you to smoke as regularly as you do now (before you were dry for two weeks) and then sober up for a few weeks. then alternate back and forth. this can be good for you because you get to feel what you are now, and enjoy it, but when it gets boring and you miss being high the start to smoke again. it keeps everything new and not boring. its what i like to do. ill smoke everyday or twice a day for a week or so, then not smoke at all for surprisingly long periods (ive done months without even noticing) its helped me alot.

quitting may have it's benefits when it comes to physical and mental health and i would probably quit too, if i wanted to. there's one thing i disagree with though, and that is where you said about the train of thought and motivation. i dont have a problem with these at all, and i smoke religiously. i'm a writer myself, and i find nothing works better than a fattie when you're stuck for a line. it's the spiritual aspect of weed that keeps me chained up in mary jane's cellar. every time i puff a joint i just feel completely at one with myself.

i think that everybody has their own relationship with mary
and its important that everyone finds their own individual balance..
i dont think there is a set rule as to how much u should or shouldnt smoke!

I really should take a break myself and see what happens to my state of mind, and my thought processes. I don't smoke large quantities of weed, however I do smoke (and have smoked) every single day of the week for the last 2 or 3 years...I forget how long exactly

When I take a break after a period of regular smoking, I notice that the first day with out it I kind of miss it and may think about lighting one up. But that's just the first day. From the next morning on I could care less about being dry. That's the great thing about Mary Jane for me, it is just so easy to break up with her.

I also notice that my dreams become much more vivid and strong during a cannabis free break. And when you start smoking again, the first highs you get are phenomenal.

There are definitely strong changes in how your mind works when on or off cannabis. This doesn't mean that your mind functions abnormally when on the stuff, and normally when you quit. It is more like flipping sides on a cassette tape (remember those??). You listen to side "A" for a bit and when you get tired of it you switch over to side "B", and vice versa. But just as the appropriateness of listening to Classical music or Pop music depends on the set and setting and different circumstances, smoking or not smoking may or may not be OK, it depends on what is going on inside you, and around you. Only you can decide when one or the other state of mind is appropriate for the situation at hand.

For example: Party=Time to smoke vs. Operating on a patient=Time to be sober. If you spend more time operating on patients than partying, well, you will have to limit your use to a few times a year maybe because being sober is the best state of mind for the job. If all you do is party or if you have an artsy job, such as a musician, the you can smoke as much as you want with out it hindering your performance, hell it will probably even help you.

i took a break for like a week or 2 to clear up. then, when i get high again it was really intense but i still felt cognizant, no burnt-outness. it felt like i had extra-sensory powers, thats a good as feeling, plus really good weed helps

Its a matter of personal preferance...some people find that smoking makes everything in their lives complete...they enjoy smoking like some people enjoy watching television...others not so much, they think of smoking more like drinking: only for certain occassions...you sound like this kind of person, whatever your choice is, goodluck writing your book please PM me if/when you finish it, Im a sucker for good reading :)

On another note..I am required by the state to lay off the Ganja until August 2nd...its been over a month and a half, personally, I have discovered a lot of things about me. I have started to read more as well which I hope to continue once my probation has finsished, practice my music a little more (i did that a lot before) and generally go on a bit of a soul searching expedition (as lame as that sounds. But I still feel like Ganja is a big part of my life and that I will continue it after this is all over, but the Detox has made me very happy lately and I have had no craving or anything...it makes me feel good about my abilites to refrain from it if need be.

I stop smoking for awhile sometimes because it starts to get old and that starts to sketch me the fuck out, but I've been smoking pretty regularily lately. I'd smoke small amounts all the time and get high, but the next day I'd feel a lot better about myself than usual. Then I read that smoking smaller amounts is really theraputic and a lot more uplifting like its a proven anti-depressant or something, unlike how I used to burn the fuck out on huge amounts all the time. So I'd say just smoke a lot less and and everything should start to level out man.

Dude I'm fucking wasted and baked right now, it's taken me so long to write out this post without making too many mistakes man!
