What are you oppinions on the rastafari religion?

Greetings Idrens,
I myself am new to this forum and hopefully i will be here for a very very long time. Im very religiously orientated, I follow Rastafari.

I was wondering on all your oppinions on the livity/religion?

Do you see rastas negatively or positively. Just to clean up, Smoking Ganja erb is not complusary in the religion, just an addon. Ive had many say something along the lines of:

"wow rastas are so cool, they are aloud to smoke weed!" totally false really, thats not all we do. Well anyway, i hope your ok Bless you all from the most high.

I dont know alot about the religion but isn't Haile Sallaise (I probably butchered that spelling) your messiah. All I know is that the guiding principals of your religion is peace and love so it has to be pretty cool.

Same here, I'm not into religions, even if it is Rastafari. But I guess it's the religion I look upon with the least 'negativity'

Aren't rasta's totally against gay people?

NOt that I fancy gay people, I just don't have any problem

I personally try not to hate on anyone for their religious beliefs. I try not to hate people in general though. So in conclusion I'm cool with rastas.

i myself, a huge bob marley fan, have tried several times to research the religion. on wikipedia, it doesnt really give a reason for why haile hassaile is the messiah. Im a high school student, and I am very likely going to study religion in University. Though I myself am not religious it intrigues me. I was wondering if there are any texts you would recomend reading about Rastafari. I know a little...( Jah= God, Herb=sacred) but not alot.

rastafari Flow believe all shall be in unity, so no we dont hate gay people, we love them as we love everybody else (not in a sexual way).
