MODS, ADMINS, PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS!!! THIS IS A RIDICULOUS SITUATION AND WE NEED TO PUT AN END TO THIS.

i share his opinion. Are there even admins active around here? There are many more solutions to the spamming problem than just deleting a thread and waiting for 2 more to take its place. Close registration or make the forums invite only are 2 ways i can think to kill it...

yea, but that would put a crimp on new users. i guess if the board was still viewable by guests they could get a members email and request an invite. they would then be your bitch for all eternity though...

Yeah, there was a problem like this on the horror film forum I post on...someone needs to step up to the plate and shit.
I believe once assimilated into the group, I could do a good deal of technical things. That is of course, if the oportunity is posed upon me.

It's not that easy. You all think we're not doing anything but I joined the board as a mod to watch topics and keep people in line. I said right from the get go I don't know anything about phbb or how to manage the technical side of a site. The two mods that know the most were asmodeus and Tom...but Animal I don't think wanted to give out the code for the phbb board as that has backfired on him before and I've never even met asmodeus. We're doing the best we can with what we've got. What YOU can do to help us is not bother posting in the topics made by the bots so that we can get rid of them as quickly as we can until we find a better solution.
