So now I own 4 birds apparently...

I was working today..powerwashing...one of my co-workers scared off a mother bird...it was a bluejay (bluebird)...at the end of the long ass day it didnt't come back....so yeah...I have it now..and they are in good care...perfect incubator tempature...it's hard to see in the pic but the eggs are a pale blue...

i would have waited longer and seen when the mother came back, rather than stealing her babies tho man

Well I remember learning as a boy scout that mothers abandon them because blue jays lay up to 5-10 eggs...so they build multiple nests and sort them out...so think of the survival rate of the 4 I picked up out of 5-10?...

hes right you did the right thing, mother bird rarely come back once scared off or if their eggs are touched or w.e

you sure? bluejay mothers are the most protective bird known when it comes to its' eggs.
