Name three things you love, and three things you hate, about the area you live in. I'm interested in hearing about you fellow stoners living situations.


I live in Parkdale (southwestern Toronto)

I love the fact that I'm right near the lake (summer walks!)
I love the fact that there are 24hr coffee shops everywhere (great for coming home after a night of raving or a metal show, always somewhere to grab a coffee and a sandwitch to sober me up a bit)
I love how close I am to public transit routes (King st, Queen st, Dufferin st, Roncesvalles ave.)

I hate how much crack and meth there is in my area (Parkdale is one of the only neighbourhoods in North America where crack cocaine use is on the rise and not declining)
I hate how close I am to the highway (It's not very visible but I can hear it at night... it's a bitch)
I hate how many schools there are in the area... all my favourite lunch hangouts are taken during the day by obnoxious grade 9 students who think theyre some sort of thuggin gangsta lame-os.

Howabout you guys?

i Live in brampton(bramalea if you want to be technical about it)

i love how close I am to the bus staition so I can go to toronto/mississauga or any where else for just 2.75$

I love how all my neihboors havnt moved so I know almost everybody around my block

I love how everything is in walking distance(even the bus stop) so I can go to the local head shop when Im bored or chill at the mall whenever


I hate how everywhere around my block is starting to turn to shit (people that dont even speak english are moving in, hell, id even settle for french!)

i hate how there are no movie theaters with in walking distance, and when I take the bus the movies are like 10$

i hate how nobody has ever heard of brampton and everytime Im out of town i have to say "i live just outside of toronto" instead of "brampton"(no offence rory, i love toronto)

I live in pottstown

I like how my neighborhood is pretty quiet
I like how... umm shit I hate where I live


I hate how nothing is walkable from my house
I hate how barely any of my friends live near me, and I have to ride my bike up a huge hill just to get out of my neighborhood
I hate how my neighborhood is so boring
I hate how I live in the stupid part of the town where theres no buildings at

I kind of didn't do the right things but at least I made up for the things I like with things I hate.

I live in Mississauga (aka Sauga)...

I love...
that toronto is only 20min away if theirs nothing to do in sauga
that a lot of things are within a 5-10min drive away
that i grew up with some of the funniest people i think i will ever know

I hate...
that there are so many cops around (because of the size of my city) and that most of them are corrupt
that most of the time their isnt much to do
that sauga is starting to turn to shit because of all the assholes that are starting to occupy it

I like a little north of Seattle.

I love the skyline at night
I love walking around the streets of Seattle
I love how close nature is to me. I can walk out my back door and be in the woods with all these cool trails and smoke spots.
I love the lake by my house, I fell asleep on the dock yesterday.

I hate the wanksters that deal drugs in the grocery store
I hate the cops in my town, they think a little weed is the worst thing in the world
I hate the traffic and bad drivers...

does it sound weird that in Pottstown, one of the main streets in the town is called highstreet...

I'm from sauble, if there's a division of sauble I'm coming from I'm unaware of it.

I like...

1. Really laid back attitude throughout. Nicer people then usual.
2. Good weed
3. The beach, tons of people in the summer, easy access to drugs if I want them.

I hate....

1. Spreadout town
2. Ghost town with 2 stores in the fall/winter/spring (residential kids still party a lot tho)
3. More forest then I'm used to, but I'll adapt.

Honestly I really like this town, fucking cool here.

i live in nashville (tennessee)

I love the fact that i can smoke weed and not get busted
i love the fact that i can hang out after school whenever i want
i love the fact that my dog no longer bites the shit out of me

i hate the fact that my school is full of idiots.
i hate the fact that a corner store by me wont sell me illegal stuff
i hate the fact taht nothing lasts forever

i live in a place called Chadstone... a suburb of Melbourne

i love that all my friends live within ten minutes of me
i love that there are lots of basketball courts and parks around the area
i love that i can sit on my verandah and smoke easily

i hate that there is always a lot of traffic around
i hate that there is one of the biggest shopping centres in Australia about a minute away
i hate that all of the older houses are being pulled down and replaced by 2-3 townhouses.

I live in Ottawa.

I love that I don't live in a busy area.
I love that there's a store right near my place.
I love that it's finally fucking warm out lol.

I hate that there's so many different races in my area(not cuz im racist, cuz these kids are all startin to join gangs these days)
I hate that all the white kids in my area.
I hate that i live so god dam far from the hood i actually chill in.

I love the music scene
I love the majority of goths over chavs.
I love the good weed.

Ihate the trees not sprouting leaves
I hate the amount of litter
I hate the soon to be smoking ban.

Okay well in north Edmonton, AB......

I love:

The inexpensive yet potent weed available 365 days outta the year.
The SURPLUS of amazingly hot girls my age around (19-25 yrs old)
The really good clubs all over the place to party
The scortching hot summer months

I Hate:

The staggering increase of random murders all over the city
The number of young kids who disrespect our community
The bitterly FREEZING cold winter months.
