Cactus care.

I bought a regular, non psycedelic cactus from a garden centre in summer. I've been meaning to post this for a while; i don't actually know how to look after a cactus. It seems healthy, and i've only watered it oncec or twice since ive bought it. It sits on a north west facing window, with sun about 10 hours of the day. The room is on average about 17.5 degrees celcius. Anybody know what i'm meant to do?

Dude they're mad easy to take care of, water every once in a while and keep in a room temp - warm room. Cactuses need little water, but keep it in the sunlight.

Ohh, thanks. I've never had a cactus before. I bought this one to make sure i could look after one, so i can buy a peyote.

Yeah but peyote takes what 8 years to grow proper? You're better off flying/driving to like I dono, wherever it grows, Colorado, Arizona etc. and buying it from someone or picking it in the desert.

Yeah, probarbly for first results. If all goes well, i can probarbly get a nice time off it. The plant i'm looking at is only a tenner, which i can afford to lose if everything goes pear shaped.

my teacher kills every plant she touches so her mom bought her a non-dying cactus...she killed it. she watered it too much.
