vaporizer or cook the bud if you want to use it to cure yourself (which works better than most medicines)

I'm not sure about something else, just try to get lots of rest and drink plenty of orange juice and water.

Orange juice, always wear socks, get listerine and rinse out your mouth and throat of germs every day and night. Worked for me.

orange juice is bad if you have a sore throat cuz of all the acids it has in in and will hurt your throat. But if it's not then it will be so much better than apple juice.

Hmm.. This brings me to a question/concern i have. Someone i know either has mono and strep or the flu... But she doesnt drink water, for some reason. She hates it. So she either drinks orange juice or milk, and while shes sick now shes drinking mostly OJ. i tell her to drink water and that will help, but she still doesnt want to....

Solutions, perhaps?

If she has strep throat then Orange juice isn't what she should be drinking at all. Have her get some antibiotics and throat losanges (those things that you suck on and tastes good) That's what I did when I had a realllly bad strep throat and it was gone in a few days.

slosh a little salt water in your throat and it'll feel better to, I think it washes out some of junk in it. Just dont drink the salt water.

well...Orange juice is good to drink when sick because of the high concentration of vitamin C, which will help boost your anti-bodies. Although its gonna be a bitch on your throat as was said earlier due to all the acids in it. I dont see how drinking milk will benifit you that much...generally its drank is a source of protein. It really doesnt matter weather or not you drink water...people just reccomend this because you need to stray hydrated. People exagerate on how good water is for you, when the only true reason is that you dont want to be drinking diaretics because they will increase the output of fluids from your body, resulting in possible dehyradtion. So basicly drinking gatorade is just as good for as drinking water. I would actually reccomend gatorade over water when sick because it will assist in replacing electrolytes.

eat some really really hot indian food... trust me this WILL work. It just clears your nose and your like... ahhhhh. along with the undesirable drumming echo of yourself screaming for a glass of cold water but thats the only drawback.
