i'm going underground

for some reason when i was younger my dad told me when i was bored to just go dig a hole, wonderfull father. either way, i have a pretty deep hole but not overly wide, not to mention it is next to a creek,unpopulated and very moist soil. so the idea struck me, for the fun of i'm going to plant in the hole, i figure it will take care of deer and most small animals, plus anyone who for some reason wanders near by won't see my hole or a weed plant growing. could possibly cover the top up with pvc or someother glass to insure no animal interference. so ya think it will work if done properly, and do you have any advice?

If you can get that hole big enough, then fucking go for it. but be VERY careful when digging, too many souls have been lost through asphixiation from holes caving in.

FTW...you should definently line the walls with wood or something...prevent a cave in. Also, I doubt that your "hole" is big enough for more then two plants...I would make it big to fit lots of plants...

plus if u got a cover to prevent stuff from getting in it wont get enoug freash air, you could make some holes in it but they bug, buy bugs live in the ground. so yes
