smoking.. drinking question.

well i was drinkin at one of my friends house a few days ago and i siad i wanted to quit cuz i didnt feel like throwin up.

he said smoking pot while or after drinking will stop you from throwing up.

any one heard of this?

well i didnt end up drinking alot and i smoked to and its been 3 days and i havent thrown up but i been feeling really sick.

lol, it sounds to me like he wanted to see you throw up.
I can smoke then drink fine (I haven't drank for 6 months now I hate the stuff) but reverse the order and I'm completely fucked especially if I've had vodka..

i can't get drunk then smoke .. otherwise i puke my brains out but i'm getting use to it lol. if u drink a lot and smoke u could possibly just get really dizzy and puked cus thats what i do

i once got drunk then smoked like half a joint, the high/drunk afterwards was the best feeling i've ever had from the two substances

wow like most of you are opposite or you have weak stomachs.

i drank like 8 shots of SoCo and 3 beers then i shared about 4-5 bowls with my friend. didnt puke. idk he could be right?

ermm..well, personally I'm more inclined to drink..feel sick...smoke, get hungry, eat something.and THEN throw up :-/

Weed does help to stop throwing up, hence why it's used with cancer patients etc.
You should watch out when drinking and smoking, as throwing up is your body's way of saying "i've had enough", and if weed is stopping you from throwing up, bad things can happen.
I've smoked a few times when drunk, it's pretty cool if you really wanna get fucked up, I always become dizzy as fuck. I have once puked, but to be fair, I was really drunk.
I dont think that weed will prevent you from puking for 3 days though.

For me anyway, if I want to do both substances in the same night, smoking weed first really helps. If I smoke first I am less inclined to drink a lot of alcohol. On the other hand if I start drinking then smoke the night turns into a wild party night.

So depends what your looking for, want to relax? Smoke first. Want to get crazy? Drink first.

Allthough drinking to the point of throwing up then smoking is not recomended as it usually induces vomitting in less experienced substance abusers.

whoever said that thing about weed stopping you from throwing up and that being bad, i understand. altohugh im better now i felt like shit for almost a week.
