she just went racing off to the hospital, possibly to see her before she falls asleep for the last time

im not religious or anything, but i guess some people are, so if people can pray for my friend kate...

aaand if she does pass away tonight, should i leave her be or try to hang around with her more for the next few days or something...and should people smoke weed when theyre in a bad way like this? cause she means the world to me and a lot of bad stuff is always coming her way and i really wanna help, maybe bring a bowl over and just chill with her in her room or something, cause it helps me forget bad shit, or should i just comfort her like normal or somethin...

ill most likely be breaking my vow of silence if she needs me to comfort her as well...so it'll be 5 days that i lasted for that

this thread is now rambling because my head is spinning so im gonna hit submit

Just let her know that you're around for her. She may want to see you, she may not. If she suggests smoking, it could help her feel better, but she'll feel just as sad when she sobers up....Let her make the choice and stick around.

I'm not particularly religious, but I hope for her, that everything will work out.

Must be a hard time :? .. Just give her all the comfort you can and you know the rest.

Sorry to hear that mate, my best wishes to kate and her family.
As for smoking, personally if I was in her situation I would definitely wait a while, and certainly not use it to try and ease the pain. It may work but it could also backfire by making her think intensely about the one thing. Just ask her I guess, just don't continually bother her if she acts like she wants to be alone for a while..

ok good luck, don't let her get too down - that's no place for somebody to be.

oh and Dakine, me too I felt really guilty about it for a long time though I now just tell myself it wasn't intentional or even a bad thing it's just that recieving such news with an altered mind doesn't seem right.

ask her what she wants from u, i mean u, nor us can make the desicions that will help her thru this difficult time, yes make sure she is aware that u are there for her, when she needs it.
i wouldnt b suprised if she wants company and to b left alone at the same time (confusing i kno) i would b there and suportive, but u gotta hang back, let her do the talkin, n ur just listenin, i mean, when someones in pain, they dont wanna b listenin to someone tellin em how to make it better, they want to b tellin someone how shit they feel to get it off their chest (this is from personal experiance anyway)
hope this helps, condolenses to ur friend kate
take care :)

Thanks guys. Her grandma is alright for tonight, but she's on the hospital in very bad condition. So we don't know what's going to happen yet.
