I want to buy this new High Pressure Sodium bulb but I'm not sure if I'm gonna need a new lamp or what for this thing to work?
270w High Pressure Sodium Super Agro Bulb (29,500 Lumens)
I normally use flourescent bulbs in a normal lamp(like a lamp for incandescent bulbs but the flourescent bulb works cause it screws in.)

now, if u are on about a normal lamp for general lighting of ur room, i wud say, doesnt really matter, for bulbs to light my room, i just get any old one usualy.
but if ur on about a bulb for growing, sorry i cant help u, i only kno that u need specific lights, and usualy one what works at difference voltage/amperage/intesity/whateva to account for the different seasons u are too 'fool' the plant into thinkin it is, to make it bud at a far more productive time scale

Thanks. I totally forgot about wikipedia for illegal things. It might actually help this time.
I just saw a picture of HPS Bulbs on little stands which I think are actually the lamps I'm looking for. I was wondering if all the bulbs come with those little stands.
Can someone just link me to a HPS bulb and lamp.

I know, but it just has a picture of a bulb. No lamp or anything.
This auction is for one Brand new SOLARBURST HPS (Super Nav-T) 400watt Bulb.
