This whole thing is fking retarted, there is no PURPLE HAZE...i had an arguement with a friend the other day about it. He said quote" But it had purple fuzzy hairs!" i said quote" Son, that just means it was carefully grown at a lower temp." he then left the room after i said, well then ill just smoke some of my northern lights while you smoke your "Purple Haze" mr. Jimi Hendrix.

Oh man, I just remembered! I was listening to the album "Couldn't Stand the Weather" by Stevie Ray Vaughn. He does a version of Voodoo Child (slight return) that just blows me the hell away. There are some parts that Jimi runs circles around Stevie...but damnit if that white boy don't put some funky fresh soul in an already funkdified song.
If there is a heaven, I'd die a happy man if I could watch Stevie and Jimi play that song together on some stage.
