Ive just decided i am the offical sport forum ambasider, since this is the only forum i come to. someone put that in my title.
any hoo, the idea is to ask a football question and without looking on the internet give the answer and then ask anouther question. ye that should kill some time.
Which teams have won the world cup and then retained it in the next world cup they played in. (hint: i was careful how i worded this one)

oh and no stupid questions like what was the name of harlepools highest ever goalscores wifes mum.

Italy 34 38 brazil 58 62
and uruaguay won the first world cup hosted by themselfs in 30, but since no europian sides entered they refused to go to the nest two world cups in france and italy. the nest one they entered in 1950 they won in brazil, so uruguay as well.

my go again, who has scored the most international goals ever?

henrik puskas, for hungarys golden team of the 50's.
also a legend with real madrid, was part of the team that won the first 5 europian cups.
ok an easier one, in 2000 which team lost in the 2nd round of the fa cup but still played in the 3rd round (against chelsea i beleive, not sure thou).

puskas played with Di Stefano, who was more of the catalyst for that Real Madrid period of domination in SPain and Europe....
As for the team that lost but was allowed to play...ummm..Hammers????
