Lightbulb vapo help

So I made a lightbulb vapo last night but I don't think I'm smoking out of it properly. The cap wasn't air tight so I put duct tape around it and twisted the cap some more. Instant air tight. So I light the candle and hold the bulb a few inches from the flame. I can see some smoke so after a few seconds, I inhale. I immediately notice that horrible after taste everyone was talking about so I thought I was smoking it right. I did this a few times until the weed had turned brown. I could barely feel anything and I had a good bowl in there.

I threw some of the weed from the vapo in my pipe and tried to smoke it, it smoked just like fresh bud.

WTF am I doing wrong? I hear smoking out of a vapo is the healthiest and best high so I wanna give this a try but I aint to convinced after my experience. I think I'm just gonna take what is in the vapo and roll a spliff for later..

I just like trying new things.

None of my friends have one and I don't think any of them have ever smoked out of one either. I've seen people claim to get ripped off this simple vapo so I dunno wtf I'm doing wrong.

I kinda have the urge to make another bong...

go to your local headshop, buy a nice bong, and a nice transportabale pipe...youll never look back

I have a nice thick glass pipe I got from Utopia (local headshop). I don't have the $$ for a nice bong. Maybe in a few weeks. I just like building stuff.. thats half the fun of smoking for me.

So I brought the vapo to my friends and I told them what happened when I tried to smoke it. So I left it there in case they wanted to try it and I went home to eat dinner, I go back and they had it all figured out. We smoked out of it last night.

4 people, 2 joints a pipe and the vapo going around. It was fucking intense because we never even got a break..

So the little vapo works good now that I understand how to work it.
