Did you know that the potency of marijuana has increased by 275% in the last decade?

My God, those poor hippies back in the 70's....how the hell did they ever get stoned?

well it wouldn't have cost as much back then... and most of them grew their own anyway so they could have more

The THC content might have been lower but I should think it wud have been organicly grown so the smoke wud be cleaner, strength isn't everything.

Well some of the stuff around these days has chemical crap on (depending where you buy from obviously) and the other thing is alot of the plants these days are cross breeds etc. and I find you get the mellowest highs of a plain old ordinary plant if you get me, none of this White Widow nonsense etc.

Go to www.pot-tv.net and watch marijuana man's grow show. he's been smoking weed since the early sixties and he reckons that the potency hasnt changed that much at all.

I believe him. Its been growing on this earth for thousands of years, why would it change within a couple of decades?

doesnt surprise me - there have been huge advances is genetic engineering of weed - and the cross breeding / artificially grown stuff IS better...well certainly in THC content anyway...

in the sixties, they smoked several joints in a sitting. now, joints are obsolete except for special occasions for most people.

Probably depends where you're from and what your crowd prefers, cause joints are far from obsolete here too. In list of preference around here Pipes are the most common, then joints, and last bongs.
