burn one side down

Gurus
i have a problem....
whenever i roll bats, using either one or two of the oversized papers
i roll and begin smoking.... all good... but after the first few initial tokes
the paper begins to burn down one side only... it still burns, but the one side that remains is a nusance....
anyone got any ideas on what im doing wrong??

Make sure your breaking down the bud enough, the more the better. Try rolling with only one paper.

Do you babtise your joints? That helps it burn more even (or so I've been told)

If it starts doing that to you take one of your fingers and lick it. Then go to where the joint is burnin and run your finger over it. It should slow down the burnin on the one side.

i am unsure of this concept u speak of!
...
doesnt matter if i roll using one or two papers... tend to get the same problem... doesnt always happen, but about 75% of the time it does!
i do the same thing everytime... dunno what is going on...happened again
last nite!!!

You basically lick the joint.. it sounds weird but I'm sure you've seen other people do it. .. But this is suposed to make the joint burn more evenly..

coud be your over lickin the gum on the last paper, i roll L's made of two papers, 2nd can get over licked n burn slower then the rest.

once you've built the joint roll it between your index finger and thumb to fluff the chunky bits inside. when bud is stuck tho the papes there's no air flow so you get a boat :waste!:

If you roll with tobacco it could be that you are not mixing it evenly, or you are not breaking up your weed enough and there are chunks on one side. roll it, and after you're finished, make sure all the bud is evenly distributed throughout the joint. lick all sides evenly and smoke away.

Turn it over in your hands....heat burns UP so if you turn it over it burns more evenly.

tried all of these techniques and methods... still cant figure out... i think it has something to do with how i roll... but cant figure it out..
i shall continue my quest...

maybe your not rolling it tight enoguh?
When it starts you can light it to make it even again
