Driving on the greens
I don't know if this has been posted before, or even if this is the right section for it, but this has been on my mind for quite some time...
I usually drive when I'm on the greens because its too far to walk anywhere. Or because its too cold (I live in Canada), the weather is bad, etc.
Anyways, I read this:
"Things you really shouldn't do"
9. Attempt to operate a vehicle of any kind.
Serious point people, don’t get fucked and drive, you may think you’ll drive slower therefore more safely but in actual fact you will a danger to yourself and others, so just don’t bother at all. Walk.
So I'm a little more concerned now...
Do any of you people drive when you're fecked up? Are there more down-sides to it then getting stopped by the cops and points on your liscnce and all that?

Yeah, I remember talking about this before but I don't know if this exact post has ever been made before.... To tell you the truth you'll hear both sides of the story here haha.
I myself when i drove, used to drive more fucked up than sober and honestly it was my finest hour every moment behind the wheel. Infact the only times I ever seriously crashed in anyway that injured my vehicle (I'v enever hurt someone in a crash) was when i was 100% stone cold sober. I never drive drunk though, that's just asking for a headlong into a lamp post or another car.
When I'm high and driving I just feel so much more at ease, I'm able to look around and observe my surroundings better than when I'm sober cause when I'm sober I'll be nervous or let things distract me more easily.
EIther way, that's my 2 cents and that's just me personally, weed doesn't affect everyone in the same way behind the wheel as it does me. So I would just as soon recommend not to do it.
Peace~

lol this is going to sound stupid but who gives a fuck
well since im not old enough to drive a car i do get stoned and drive a motor scooter and minimotos (illegal on the streets in the uk). Ive had 5 accidents but very minor.
If you are stoned your reactions are slower, well this is dangerous but i guess if you drive anyway you are likely to have an accident in a car as related above.

I think driving stoned is fine when you SMOKE pot. Eating it is a different story. Staying on the road felt as challenging as riding a bike on a tightrope. I also got lost in my own town which I am completely familiar with. I thought I was in the nearby town in Canada which I never visit. Plus, if I got pulled over, I'd be fucked since it looked like someone maced my eyes.

OK well I guess I was wrong about you hearing about both sides lol, who the hell was it that was yelling at people for smoking and driving?? I coulda sworn one of the more frequent members was against smoking and driving haha.
So I'll unleash the hidden lust I have for driving under the influence of marijuana! It's one o fthe greatest feelings in the world!! There's nothing to compare to such a feeling, except maybe riding a motorcycle while high haha something I've yet to try. I love driving stoned, it lets me become one with my surroundings outside of the vehicle, and I can feel the road as it passes beneath my tires, almost in a physical way. Music is another thing which is strangely affected by my immaculate highness while in my vehicle. My car sings to the music with it's reving engine, and I find myself arriving at my destinations just as the music ends. It's just a very natural feeling I find. Nothing beats it.
Peace~

I've driven a motorcycle while I was high. Of course, I'm not of legal age to drive anything, but it was fun. I think it's more dangerous to ride a motorcycle thought because if you lean the wrong way or if you forget to change gears; you're done.
But it is the most AMAZING feeling ever! I would recommend driving somewhere secluded first, just to see how you do while driving stoned. If you do good then you can take to the road. If not then...don't get stoned and drive.

I think drugs have done some good things for us, and if you don't believe me, do me a favor. Go home tonight and burn all your albums, tapes, and cd's. Because the musicians who made all that great music...rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreal fucking high on drugs.

Your missing out man. I love getting on either one of my motorcycles stoned. It really is two different feelings. When I'm on my dirtbike it's a rush driving offroad and doing jumps and such. When I'm on my cruiser it's just fun to be on the open road and crusing. That is one thing I love about North Dakota is when your on your motorcycle in the summer there is just so much wide open space!Zen wrote: So I'll unleash the hidden lust I have for driving under the influence of marijuana! Ok that's it. It's final! I'm gonna have to buy myself a motorcycle. ANy suggestions folks as to what someone like myself (5'6", 135lbs) Last time I rode a bik the front wheel came rolling off as I lept off a curb into an intersection and I smashed my wrist, humerous, collar bone, and probably hada concussion, so I haven't rode bikes too much, but I used to ride them alot. I was into rollerblading hugely over the summer so I have pretty good balance, as well as being in Taekwon Do is helping me with balance issues extremely. I don't even know what kind of bike I want, something good for cross country travel I think, not necessarily a crotch rocket, but not something like a Harley or anything *rolls eyes* . Thanks
Peace~

I like these bikes there fast and well they are to small for me but they would fit you nicely and they are powerful.

I'm actually a fan of HD they have nice bikes. Just because you own one you do not have to have that harley mentallity that too many people get labeled with in my opnion.
A sportser or Dyna Glide would be about the right size for ya.
http://www.google.com The Yamaha 650cc is a really popular bike. I used to have one myself and while the ride can get rough from time to time it is a good reliable cheap bike.

i would love to drive a bike, maybe i will when i move to a smaller town. But in Miami there is way to much traffic and people who dont know how to drive, on top of that i tend to speed everywhere i go so i would most likely end up dead. Ive only been on a motorcycle once and it was fun even though i didnt really know how to ride it. ATV's are fun ive driven those plenty of times while high especially fun when you get to ride them out in the woods in the middle of nowhere.
