coffeeshop
smokers all
jokers naw
it’s a serious business this
rolling up
this blazing up
this lift up to the lip
we’re invaded by Bobby Marley
as on juice or coffee sip
we’re all smoking the green
yet we hardly sit
and communicate as a whole
we’re all too busy with our rizzla paper folds
to see
we’re all too busy
keeping a hold of our sanity
or contemplating
the naughtiness
the nuances
the nuisance of humanity
and it’s present or near future
we’re all just about holding it together
like a badly sewn up suture

i really wnat some feedback on this one......i posted it ages ago and have just come back to the site after a long hiatus.....i myself like this poem....I know it sounds wankey and conceited....but I've written hundreds of poems and many i review i am unhappy with...i quite like the simplicity and hope it shows a side to smokers that isn't always expressed.....wrote it in Dam obviously...any feedback welcome
